It is hard to believe that it is 2010. Bonnie Blue Quilts has just started it's 5th year. Thanks to all our loyal customers for your support and business over the years. We appreciate each and everyone of you.
As the new year begins, we are unpacking new fabric collections, busy making new quilts and have just completed our first two quilts shows for the year. Thanks to everyone who came out to visit with us at the Road to California and the Jefferson Quilt Show. What a fantastic way to start the new year!
Check out our remake of Belle Meade in the new Moda collection, Rouenneries and soon to be released, Appomattox Court House in beautiful shades of red and black. They are currently at the photographers for their glamour shots. Take a look at some "re-do's" of some our old favorites Stars Over Ft. Sumter, Flowers for Clara, Vicksburg and a new Patriotic Glory Bound just to name a few.
Paula is hard at work creating several new quilts and Mary Ellen's sewing machine is going at full speed. Over the next few months we will be introducing many new quilts, fabrics and kits. It is all so exciting!

New Releases
 Antique Star is a beautiful quilt with small blocks in red, brown, and tan. The striking dark sashing showcases each block for it's beauty. The pattern and the quilt kit are available.
Evangeline is new quilt designed with Paula's newest collection from Marcus Fabrics called French Quarter. This collection has just arrive and kits will be available shortly. The pattern is available now and you can pre-order the upcoming kit.
 The Civil War Generals quilt is a simple nine patch with a rich gold sashing. The blue print border with small flowers sets off the beautiful blocks The quilt kit is also available with a gorgeous red border. Order your kit today!
 Paula designed a wonderful quilt, Old Abe, to showcase the Bonnie Blue's America collection including an eagle and star motif that we have used in the sashing of this quilt. The Old Abe kit is available and has begun shipping.
 Another collection introduced by Marcus Fabrics, Sophie & Friends, is perfect for that new grandchild. The collection includes pinks, browns, creams and blues. We introduced the new pattern, Sophie, to show off this new collection. I can't wait to do one from my grand daughter.
Bonnie Blue Quilts - On The Road
 Celebration 2010 - Dallas, TX. Bonnie Blue Quilts will once again be participating in the Quilt Guild of Dallas' quilt show, Quilt Celebration 2010. The event will be held at Market Hall which is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of I-35E and Market Center Blvd. There are over 2000 parking spaces by Market Hall, including a large parking garage. March 24-27 - AQS Quilt Show & Contest - Lancaster, PA. The very first AQS Quilt Show & Contest will be held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at the new Lancaster County Convention Center and Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square complex and the Liberty Place Conference Center. The show will have over 400 quilts, 300+ vendors and many special exhibits. This should be a great show and we hope to see you there. AQS Website
 April 16-18 - International Quilt Festival Chicago - Rosemont, IL. Bonnie Blue Quilts will be back in the windy city for this wonderful event. You will want to come see all the outstanding quilts, special exhibits and a host of vendors to help you with all your quilting needs. The event will be held at the Donald E. Stephens center. April 21-24 - AQS Quilt Show & Contest - Paducah, KY. The next Paducah quilt show will be held at the Paducah Expo Center, Julian Carroll Convention Center, and the new AQS Pavilion that will be located in the parking lot at the convention center. The AQS "Hurt Book Sale" and more vendors will be at the AQS Vendors on Kentucky in the Finkel Building in downtown Paducah. Special Events will be held at the Carson Four Rivers Center (across the street from the Finkel Building). The show will have over 400 quilts, 400 vendors and 100+ classes. Some of the special exhibits will include 2010 & 2011 Pilgrim/Roy Challenge, Winners from the 2010 AQS Quilt Show & Contest - Lancaster and many more.
